About Us
In 1985, Provimi was acquired by Mr. G.V. Viswanathan, from a renowned business and agricultural family, initially focusing on Lucerne dehydration and producing feed supplements, pet foods, and veterinary pharmaceuticals. The company later expanded into animal feed production as a licensed manufacturer of the market leader, Mysore Feeds, pioneering products like laboratory animal feed, duck feed, indigenous aqua feed, and neem pellets.
In 2000, Mr. G.V. Sudarshan, a biochemist, joined the business, driving research and development. His innovations in nature- and herbal-based feed products, launched in 2015, disrupted the market with high quality and competitive pricing. Since 2013, Provimi has diversified into organic food production, using its family orchard’s organic fruits, herbs, and vegetables.
Provimi’s group company specializes in bio-fertilizers, growth promoters, and repellents. Their flagship product, Herboliv+, combines an herbal-based animal and pest repellent with a growth promoter, making it one of the most successful products on the market.
